Hmmmm...
What's going on in Chicago? They've signed Neifi and Todd Walker, and they're supposedly hot for Furcal. Two things, they could trade Walker OR they've dropped pursuit of Furcal and intend to go after other hitters, Giles perhaps???

Ryan, I belive they will be saving the money they'd spend on Furcal and pursuing A.J. Burnett. He fits the young, oft-injured, bad-attitude, fire-baller profile that the northsiders crave.

As Cards fans go, I'm not very anti-Cub, but still when I saw the news about Neifi I did a full Nelson: Haw Haw!
I'm pretty apathetic about Mench but we could at least call him The Mench to complement the Man and El Hombre. He would be the Vic Dimaggio of that trio though.
